Type 565 - Supply Pin
The Supply Pin property allows you to assign supply nets to specific supply pins of a particular device. This property overrides the supply augmentation performed automatically by the Packager or Database Load processes. Typically, the power and ground pins for a device are not included in the schematic, but are extracted from the parts database in PCB layout. If alternate supply nets are assigned to pins via the Supply Pin property, the supply nets defined in the parts database are ignored for those pins.
This property is somewhat similar to the SUPPLY RENAME property that allowed one to rename the augmentation nets. If a device had three pins, all defined to be augmented to a GND net in the parts database, one could use Supply Rename property to switch the assignment of all three pins to GND1, but could not reassign one to GND1, one to GND2, and one to GND3. The Supply Pin property, by virtue of the fact that it assigns nets to pins, overcomes this limitation. Multiple space separated assignments can be done on the same line.
Syntax: <pin number>=<netname> <pin number>=<netname> <pin number>=<netname> Example: 7=AGND 8=BGND 9=5V
