SIM Technology Group Limited (“SIM Technology” or the “Group”; SEHK stock code: 2000), a leading mobile handset and wireless communication module solutions developer in China, together with MediaTek Inc (“MTK”), today issue a joint statement that MediaTek will continue with the established support model between SIM Technology and Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI). SIM Technology and MediaTek/Analog Devices wireless handset radio and baseband team will design and develop market leading handset and wireless communication module solutions.

Analog Devices was one of key chipset suppliers of SIM Technology. Based on the ADI’s SoftFone® and Othello® chipset platforms, SIM Technology has developed many leading handset and wireless communication module products for both the domestic and international market.

“SIM Technology and MediaTek have always been working closely with each other. I believe this acquisition of ADI’s wireless handset baseband and radio operations is a win-win business to SIM Technology as well.” Mingto-Yu, CFO and Spokesman of MediaTek said. “MediaTek will continue to support the existing contract between SIM Technology and ADI and provide best in class handset chipset solutions and service as usual”
