Dave - The next release was pushed out to the end of December. They are working on making sure it works before it is deployed to everyone. There will be a new and Cool document released at the same time the tools are released.

Some clarification. EXP2005 could ship sooner than the end of the year. It'll be released when it's released.

The release of Expedition Enterprise 2005 looks like it will be the first week in January.

In the upcoming EXP2005 release, CES will be enabled for new DxDesigner and Design Capture/DesignView projects, by default.
When creating new DxD or DC/DV projects, you can keep the default, or choose to not use CES.
If you choose not to use CES in DxD, you will have access to the few net-level constraints that can be edited in DxDesigner's Attribute Editor window.
Note: If you're using the DxDesigner-CDB flow, you must use CES.
If you choose not to use CES in DC/DV, you will have access to the Net Properties and Net Classes & Clearances dialogs.
Existing projects in supported flows can enable CES at any time. Until CES is enabled, the existing projets will continue to use Netclasses and Net Props.
The MGC_ENABLE_CES environment variable will no longer be required.
For those using the keyin netlist, it is not possible to enable CES and you'll have to continue to use Netclasses and Net Properties.

так что DC не помер.
и жалко, что CES не поддерживается с .kyn нетлстом.
и опять перетусовали все директории установки. Казалось бы, какая разница?
