Требования примерно следующие:

knowledge in HW language like VHDL and Verilog, Verification experience with Specman E and System Verilog (SV) and also system C.
Architecture and micro architecture of IPs & SOC.
Vast verification experience, UVM OVM. Constrained random verification, Assertion based verification.
ARM / processors verification. Verification of complex SOCs/IPs.
Formal verification.
Synthesis and STA.
Pre Silicon FPGA prototyping.

Back End –
Complex P&R and Floor planning – what tools and what is the node size? -7nm or 14nm or 28nm and higher.
Power analysis.
Scan insertion and boundary scan and ATPG.

Package design.

Post silicon validation & FPGA prototyping

Protocols and HW-
PCIs, USB,DDR, SATA, Ethernet, Video, HDMI, Bluetooth, WiFi, …..
