WORK EXPERIENCE:

Role: Technical Architect, hardware and software developer.
Scope:
Design, developing and further support and modification
of the "Ob-128", the set of equipment for technological telephony
specific for russian railway transport including:
1)Hardware design of processor, switching and several perefirial line-cards both digital and analog.
From component base choosing and schematic design to PCB and FPGA programming, including prototyping and so on.
PCB complexity up to 6 layers, up to 10 over 200-pins chips including fineline BGAs.
The most complex FPGA project is multifunctional Altera Cyclone based design. It incorporates 1Кx1K TDM
switch with conference/attenuation unit (256 points), 4-channel LAPD tranciever and various interface/clock control/
rate-adoptation logic.
2)Embedded "Ob-128" software design, support and modification including
1. "Ob-128" 1st generation: linecard drivers, Q921/Q931 protocol stack. (assembler x86,C).
2. "Ob-128" 2nd generation: startup code, flash loaders, eventdriven/timesharing kernel of proprietary operating environment,
gdb-stub adoptation, existing ADSP2185 code adoptation for ADSP2191,most of the device drivers. (assembler MIPS32, 2191, C)
3)Remote control and maintainence software developing for the 2nd generation "Ob-128".
Hints: Server side ("Ob-128") - C written single client server task running proprietary protocol.
Client side (PC) - multi interface browser written in Java(SE,Swing,JNI,Socket programming).
4)Dozens of utilities also were written. Not too comlicated format converters, test utilities, JTAG flash loaders,
Quartus .pin file to PCAD IC-symbol generators, etc. ©.

Role: Hardware and software developer.
Scope:
1)Hardware design of the adapter boards for "KTS".
"KTS" was a set of equipment for the railway cpecific telephoy linecards QA and testing.
It included PC, several measurement devices and adapter rack interconnected via IEEE488.
2)Design, developing, further support and modification some
of the "ITS" hardware. "ITS" is the 40 ports analog telephone key system.
For "ITS" I developed DTMF/CPM/CallerID processing board. Both hard and software.
(MT8088, 8051).
