Базу данных сначала надо сделать, а потом её подключать.
таки и сделал (скачал Cadence_Starter_Library) там по описанию потом прошелся:
Configuring Design Entry Initialization
We need to control the paths as to where DesignEntry CIS searches for Symbols / Footprints and Datasheets; this is controlled by the Capture initialization file:
Open the file from the following location in a text editor:
%CDS_ROOT%\tools\capture\CAPTURE.INI
Check to see whether the following entries currently exist in this file, if they do not exist you need to add them or update them to where you have installed the Starter Library:
[CIS Browse Directories]
Dir0=<Starter_library>\datasheets
[Footprint Viewer Type]
Type=Allegro
[Allegro Footprints]
Dir0=<Starter_library>\PCB_symbols
[Part Library Directories]
Dir0=<Starter_library\CIS_Symbols
CIS Configuration
Once you have completed the above steps you can start Design Entry CIS and setup the Configuration file
1, Start Design Entry CIS
2, Goto Options > CIS Configuration
3, Browse to the STARTER_LIBRARY_CONFIG.DBC file provided with the starter library
4, Press OK
CIS Explorer
1, Create a new Design Entry CIS project
2, Place > Database Part
