Есть ли у кого-нибудь опыт проектирования схем с таким чипом?
datasheet на него убогий, а другой документации пока достать не удалось,
поэтому есть куча вопросов
например такой, для затравки: обязательно ли подключать еепром, какие данные туда прошиваются?

During the power-up procedure, the SAA7134HL will investigate the on-board EEPROM
to load the board specific system vendor ID and board version ID into the related places of
the PCI configuration space. The board vendor can store other board specific data in the
EEPROM that is accessible via the I2C-bus.
