Я студент, заканчиваю бакалавра по электронике. Дипломную работу предложили делать в университете города Рочестер, штат Нью Йорк. Возможно ктото слышал про него и чтото может рассказать - как отношение к иностранцам, общий уровень преподования и т.д - интересует любая информация.

Hi! My russian fonts are broken right now, but if you're applying to Rochester, english shouldn't be a problem... I applied to both rochester and rensellaer polytech several years ago but went to georgia tech. in the end.

Rochester is a pretty good school, there are some interesting opportunities for internship etc,. work nearby. It is rather cold up there as compared to Israel, so keep that in mind. There should be plenty of foreign students doing grad work, so you won't feel any issues there either.

Bottom line - there are better schools out there, but rochester is pretty good. Keep in mind, upstate NY is quite provincial - there's not much else going on in the small college towns. Not much culture, girls, etc... If you are tied to this institution, by all means go - but if you have options for places in larger cities (Boston, Washington DC, anything in california) consider them as well.
